Sofia: I looked for a long time for an alternative to the tiny bikini bottom. Guys swim in shorts, so why do girls have to swim in underwear - panties and bras? There's nothing wrong with wanting bikini bottoms, but there has to be an alternative!

How hard it was to find good swim shorts for girls pissed me off. This is an equality issue! Girls' bodies are exposed and sexualized to a greater degree than boys'. In addition, swimwear for girls requires us to adjust the body to fit in the garment – the bikini line – instead of the clothes being created based on how girls actually look.

When I couldn't find what I wanted, I therefore decided, together with my husband Andreas, to create these swimming shorts myself and here you have the result: Shortsinin 👊🏻
